Bangalore: KonCAB Holds Annual General Body Meet, New Office-bearers Elected

Bangalore, June 29: The Konkani Catholic Association Bangalore (KonCAB) held Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) at Jyothi School Campus here on Sunday June 26.

KonCAB honorary secretary Anup Saldanha read out the annual report for 2010-11. The treasurer, Colonel Alex Pereira, read out the audited accounts for the year till March 31, 2011. The annual budget for 2011-12 was also presented. Auditor Mark D'Souza was reappointed for 2011-12.

Men’s cricket team and ladies throw-ball team that won the inter-association sports event organized by Federation of Konkani Catholic Association were honoured.

Joachim Serrao, KonCAB representative at the Konkani Welfare Trust (KWT) briefed the progress in construction work and financial matters relating to the KWT building coming up at Kammanahalli near the Ring Road.

Kempegowda awardee Tony Lucas and senior members of the association were the others honoured.

The executive and management committee were unanimously elected.
