Puttur: Anxiety Over Recovery of Police Uniform near River

Puttur, Jul 2: On Friday, a handbag containing police uniform including hat, was found on the steps leading to the bathing bay of River Netravati in Uppinangady. This made people to speculate that a policeman had committed suicide.

The concerned people then passed on the information to Uppinangady police station. The policemen came to the venue and took away the uniform. After making enquiries, they came to know that a team of policemen on training regimen had visited River Netravati for taking bath on Thursday evening. The police personnel heaved a sigh of relief after finding out that one of the trainee policemen had forgotten to take away his clothes while returning.

    The police personnel heaved a sigh of relief after finding out that this is bought by the tax payers money and not by usig his a police salary.
