Udupi: District Patrakartara Vedike Felicitates Veteran Kannada Litterateur Ku Go

Udupi, Jul 2: Veteran Kannada litterateur Gopal Bhat, with the pen name Ku Go, was felicitated at his residence in Indrali here on Friday July 1 by the district unit of Bangalore-based Patrakartara Vedike under the aegis of Shree College, Moodbidri.

Senior journalist Dr Raghav Nambiar felicitated Ku Go by presenting him a large pen, a shawl, and fruits and flowers.

The Vedike has been felicitating veteran litterateurs at their residences over the past few years.

Shekar Ajekar, president, district unit of Patrakartara Vedike, stressed the need for improving the economic situation of rural journalists.

The district information and broadcasting officer Junjanna and MGM College journalism department lecturer Borgalgudde Manjunath were amongst those present.
