Mangalore: Cloistered Carmel Chapel Celebrates Sacred Heart of Jesus Feast

Mangalore, Jul 2: The Sacred Heart of Jesus feast was celebrated in the chapel of the Cloistered Carmel at Kankanady in the city recently.

The holy mass was celebrated in devotion to the Sacred Heart. The main celebrant of the mass was Bishop of Mangalore Diocese, Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza. Sermon was preached by Fr John Martiz, rector of St Joseph Seminary. The other priests at the dais were Fr Pius James D’Souza, superior of Infant Jesus Shrine, Fr Stany Goveas, parish priest, Rosario Church, Fr Henry Sequeira, chancellor, Fr Gregory D’Souza, Fr Nelson Pinto, Fr Santosh Kamath, and Fr Valerian D’Souza.

A large number of devotees had gathered for the mass, for invoking the special blessings.
