Mangalore: Delegation of 14 MLAs from State Meets Uttarakhand Governor

Mangalore, Jul 2:
A delegation of 14 MLAs from the state met Uttarakhand Governor Margaret Alva at Dehradun on Friday July 1.

MLA U T Khader, one of the members of the delegation, said that they discussed several issues regarding the development of minority people, backward classes and Dalits with the governor.

The purpose of the visit was to study the development works undertaken for the benefit of the minorities, he said.

The delegation comprised MLAs of all parties including Mudigere MLA Kumaraswamy, Karkala MLA Gopal Bhandary and Belur MLA Rudresh Gowda.
 
The delegation will next meet the ministers of Jammu and Kashmir government to discuss the issue.
