Mangalore: Landslip at Mulky Hinders Vehicular Movement

Mangalore, Jul 3: A landslip occured on a roadside hill hindering the movement of vehicles at Padupanamboor, Mulky on Saturday July 2 at around 4.30 pm, on National Highway 66 (earlier 17).

Three persons involved in the National Highway repair works had a lucky escape.  As they heard the loud noise made by the landslip, they ran away from the spot and saved themselves.

Mulky police arrived on the spot and took up the issue with the road contractors. The officials took quick action and managed to repair the damage in an hour and made way for the smooth movement of vehicles.

MP Nalin Kumar Katil arrived at the spot and assured to take measures to avoid any such situation in future.
