Mangalore: ‘KACES Day’ Celebrations Mark Birthday of Late Dr C D Jathanna

Mangalore, Jul 6: Karnataka Christian Educational Society, Balmatta, organized ‘KACES Day’ on Wednesday July 6 to mark the birthday of late Dr C D Jathanna, founder of KACES, at Bishop Jathanna Auditorium, Balmatta here.
 
D M Soori, superintendent of central excise, symbolically inaugurated the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) coaching centre. This coaching centre has been introduced through the Balmatta Institute of Language and Vocational Studies (BILVS). Speaking on the occasion, he said that the faculty in KACES has achieved a lot so far, and now the introduction of IELTS will help students to excel in the international English language system.






























Soori said that IELTS will be a new feather in the crown of KACES and noted that English is bein a global language and good knowledge of the language gives one a distinct advantage.
 
KACES secretary Dr Hannibal Cabral presided over the programme. Dr C L Furtado was present.
 
Vathsala Phinehas, director, BILVS, Chetan R, principal, HTTI, Sandeep, PRO, KACES, and students of Karnataka Theological College were also present.
