Mangalore, Jul 8: In a tragic incident that occurred at Badaga Yedapadavu village within the limits of Bajpe police station on Wednesday July 6, a man and his son drowned in a tank located near their home.
The deceased have been identified as Somanath (45), and his son, Pravin (14). Both of them had gone missing on Wednesday afternoon, but their deaths were confirmed only on Thursday morning.
The two had gone to a tank near their home late afternoon on Wednesday. As they did not return, the family members and neighbours launched a search operation to find them out till late night on Wednesday, but they did not succeed. Their bodies started floating on Thursday morning in the tank.
