Mangaluru, May 25: Prakash Gavade, staff of district prison in the city, who was arrested in connection with supplying ganja to the prisoners, is suspended from service.

KISF personnel frisk relatives of prisoners, officials and jail staff also to prevent any kind of prohibited goods or weapons supply to the inmates lodged in the district prison.

Accordingly, during a routine check-up, ganja was found in possession of Prakash and a case was filed in this regard in Barke police station.
