Mumbai, Jul 21: After receiving strong reactions from the Congress for her comment on Rahul Gandhi being half-Indian and half- Italian, actress Katrina Kaif has apologized for the same also making clear that she did not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments.

In an interview, while being questioned about her being half-Asian, Kat answered saying that she was not ashamed of the fact that she was half-Indian and half-British just like how Rahul Gandhi is half-Indian and half-Italian.

However, the Congress party did not take this comment in light spirits as they accused the actress of insulting their leader.

Apart from apologizing, Kat said that she was deeply hurt by the misinterpretation as she did not mean to offend any body.

That was totally uneccesary comment. I thought katrina was not as dumb as that to be taking on a political issue so calously. This is the best time for the Govt to check her real identity....for all we know, she isnt half Indian.
