Udupi, Jul 4: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Udupi-Karavali celebrated Doctor’s Day in IMA Bhavan, Nayar Kere, Udupi, on July 1.
Dr Sharath K Rao, pro vice-chancellor, MAHE, Manipal, was the chief guest of the programme.
Dr P V Bhandary, president, IMA Udupi-Karavali presided over the function.
Senior doctors Dr Achutharaya Achar, Dr Shubhageetha, and Dr Ramachandra Aital were felicitated by Dr B C Roy on the ocassion.
Dr Keshav Nayak, secretary, IMA Udupi-Karavali welcomed the gathering. Dr Rajalakshmi proposed the vote of thanks. Dr Padmaraj Hegde, dean, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Dr Sudesh Kumar U, district surgeon, District Hospital, Udupi were present.
