Bengaluru: Karnataka Bank inaugurates Technology & Digital Hub

Bengaluru, Jul 5: Private sector lender Karnataka Bank today inaugurated a state of the art ‘Technology & Digital Hub’ at Artisane RPS Tech Centre, Bengaluru consolidating all its tech and digital operations under one roof spearheading development/innovation as well as the execution side also.

Inaugurating the new centre, Pradeep Kumar, chairman said, “The newly opened Technology & Digital Hub will be a game changer in accelerating the growth journey of the Bank as we celebrate the Centenary Year of the Bank. While strengthening the hands of brick and mortar branches, this new technology nerve centre will open up new channels of sourcing business and servicing the Nxt Gen customers.”

Speaking on the occasion, Srikrishnan H, managing director & CEO said, “Our new Technology & Digital Hub will drive the next level of automation and digitization, harnessing the power of computing and analytics. Effectively we will end up increasing the bandwidth for business acquisition, service delivery and ability to partner with fintechs and start-ups”

Also present on the occasion were Sekhar Rao, executive director, Justice A V Chandrashekar, Uma Shankar, Dr D S Ravindran, Balakrishna Alse S, Jeevandas Narayan, K Gururaj Acharya, directors, Balachandra Y V, chief operating officer, Gokuldas Pai, chief business officer and Ananthapadmanabha B, general manager & chief technology officer.
