Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar to visit flood-affected areas in Udupi after budget on Jul 7

Udupi, Jul 6: District in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar said that she will visit the flood-affected areas of Udupi once the budget is over on Friday.

Hebbalkar said, “I will go to Udupi as soon as the budget session is over on Friday and call a meeting of concerned officials and take up relief work. Two people have died due to rain and I have ordered to pay compensation within 24 hours. There is no problem for compensation due to rain damage.

“I will give details of Gruha Lakshmi Yojana in a separate press conference once I am back from Udupi,” she said.

Hebbalkar also said that Aadhar and ration card are mandatory to get the benefits of Gruha Lakshmi Yojana.
