Mangaluru, Jul 6: Assistant commissioner Raju K visited the house of Suresh Gatti, a resident of Pilaru, Someshwar village, who died on July 4 after slipping into a culvert.

The AC offered condolences, old age pension to the deceased's wife and an additional Rs 20,000 grant from the government, he promised.

On this occasion, revenue inspector Manjunath, Someshwar municipality village accountant Lavanya, Suresh Gatti's wife Shambha and daughters Pratiksha and Deeksha were present.
