Udupi: Derogatory post on Hindu religion on Facebook – One arrested

Udupi, Jul 7: A suo moto case is filed against Belapu resident Mohammed Siddique (48), who shared a derogatory post insulting Hindu religion, on his Facebook account. He was arrested and produced to the court.

A video of BJP leader Pravesh Shukla of Sidi district of Madhya Pradesh urinating on the head of a man belonging to the tribal group had gone viral a few days ago. A picture matching the act in video of one person urinating on the head of another person of the same community with the caption “Do you want Hindu culture? Do you want Nagpur Hindu culture?” posted by Ansar Royal on Facebook was shared by Mohammed Siddique.
