Bantwal, Jul 8: MLA Rajesh Naik visited Safa, a resident of Nandavara who is under treatment in the hospital for serious injuries as she was stuck under mud that caved in from the hill near their house after a landslide.

Safa’s mother had died in the mishap. The MLA consoled Safa.

The MLA assured the family of the deceased that he will personally bear the cost of treating Safa.

As the MLA participated in the budget session at Bengaluru on Friday during the mishap, he visited the injured in the hospital on Saturday morning.
