Kundapur, Jul 9: Udupi district Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department employees’ credit cooperative society was inaugurated on Sunday, July 9.

CEO of Udupi zilla panchayat Prasanna H inaugurated the new office. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this is the first society in the state of Karnataka and it will unite employees of the department.

B Appanna Hegde inaugurated the stage programme. Raju Poojary was the chief guest. Arun Kumar V, Bharathi N, Ibrahimpur, Manjunatha and Vikas Hegde were present.

The programme was presided over by Santhosh Kumar. Jayaram Shetty, Umesh, Gurumurthy, Shekhar, Deepa, Roopa Gopi, Udaya Kumar, Udaya Madiwala, Vijendra and Vasu Naika were present.

MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary and MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi graced the occasion and extended their warm wishes.

Chandrakant Billava welcomed the gathering. Nagendra Kumar led with a prayer. Mahesh and Roopa compered the event. Nagendra rendered the vote of thanks.
