Bantwal, Jul 12: Fire broke out at the factory manufacturing beds and pillows at Mandakodi, near Aladi in the morning on Wednesday July 12.

The loss is estimated to be in lacs. The factory belongs to Lathif, a resident of Sajipa. Fire caught the machinery in the factory. Several lacs worth pillows and beds were stored in the store room.

Though the fire caught the store room, large scale destruction was prevented by dousing it by throwing water.

Bantwal fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot immediately and indulged in putting off the fire.
