Mangaluru: Mudipu Cong holds silent protests over disqualification of Rahul Gandhi from LS

Mangaluru, Jul 12: “The BJP was responsible for disqualifying Rahul Gandhi from MP’s position. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is a ray of hope for the poor and the youth and the orders to disqualify him should be withdrawn immediately,” said Mudipu block Congress president Prashanth Kajava.

He was speaking in the silent protests held by Mudipu block Congress committee on calls by Karnataka Pradesh Congress committee condemning the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi at Mudipu on Wednesday. “Rahul Gandhi is not lonely. People of the entire country are with him,” he said.

Former zilla panchayat president Mamatha D S Gatti said that BJP is indulging in hate politics by disqualifying Rahul Gandhi who tables topics of social concern in the parliament.

Devadas Bhandary, former president of Kurnadu gram panchayat spoke. Former taluk panchayat president Chandrahas Karkera, members Pravin Alva, Hyder Kairangala, Padmanabha Naringana, Abdul Jaleel Motungoli, Ganesh Naik, Zubair Talemogaru, Sufi Kunha, Premalatha Gatti, Lolakshi Moidin Arkana, Razak Kukkaje, Bharathraj Fajir, Nawaz Kallarakodi, Imtiaz Nadupadavu, Vrinda Merekujalu, Kasim Kurnad, Bashir Mudipu, Ashraf Kurnad and others were present.
