Mangaluru: Swachhata Pakhawada-2023, street play performed by Govinda Dasa School students

Mangaluru, Jul 13: As a part of Swachhata Pakhawada-2023, team MRPL-ONGC conducted a street play event at Surathkal Junction on July 12 in association with NSS students of GovindaDasa Pre University College, Surathkal despite heavy rain.

K Nagaraja Rao, senior manager (CSR) & Steevan Pinto, executive (CSR), Laxmi. P, principal of Govinda Dasa College, Surathkal flagged off the Jatha.

Swachhata awareness was promoted through a street drama performed by NSS students from Govinda Dasa Pre-University College, Surathkal, on the theme of Swachhata.

As many as 855 students took part in the Jatha and street play, which spread the message to the community to not litter and about the segregation of the wet and dry waste in order to create a green and clean India.

More than 300 local people witnessed the street play.
