Udupi: Nirmala Sitharaman arrives in town, to attend party gathering

Udupi, July 13: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in Udupi on Thursday, July 13, to deliver a speech at a gathering being held by Udupi district BJP unit about the achievements of  the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre during the last nine years.

She was welcomed by BJP district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak who  presented a flower bouquet at Udupi tourist bungalow.

The function will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 14, at Manipal Country Inn auditorium. She will also be visiting Udupi Sri Krishna Math at 7 am and the Indian institute of Gems and Jewellery, Udupi at 10 am on Friday.

BJP Mangaluru division in-charge, K Udaya Kumar Shetty, Kundapura MLA Kiran Kumar Kodgi, BJP former district president Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, district vice-president Geetanjali M Suvarna, Udupi BJP city president Mahesh Thakur, district co-spokesperson Shivakumar Ambalpady, Girish M Anchan, district Mahila Morcha president Veena S Shetty, Udupi city chief secretary Dinesh Ameen, Manjunath Manipal, city Yuva Morcha president Roshan Shetty and others were present.
