Though the show was organized by a jewellery promoter, the catwalk on the ramp was not for publicity but for a cause, according to Bipasha.
She was indeed delighted to walk with her mother as she wanted to create awareness about the cause.
And about the cause Bips said, “In India, the strength of women is often underestimated but we want to prove that women are strong and can be equivalent to men!”
"I come from a family where we are three daughters, and this little awareness I wanted to bring along with my mom," says the beautiful star.
No one in the audience could make out that Bipasha's mother was walking the ramp for the first time. She took cautious steps which brought thunderous applause from the audience.
