Beltangady: Assault on auto driver - CPI (M) urges externment of Sangh Parivar activists

Daijiworld Media Network – Beltangady (MS)

Beltangady, Aug 3: Shekhar L, committee member of CPI (M), Beltangady taluk urged the state Congress government to extern Sangh Parivar activists who assaulted an auto rickshaw driver for dropping a girl student, whom he was familiar with, from Ujire to Dharmasthala bus stand.

Shekhar said, “Though the Congress government is in power, it seems the activists of Sangh Parivar are ruling Dakshina Kannada. Anti-communal wing of the government is like a toothless cobra.

“Police, journalist, doctors and auto drivers are attacked by the Sangh Parivar people within a week. This means that instead of the police department, Sangh Parivar people are operating under the home department. When one sees these incidents, question arises whether district administration is functioning in the district?

“State government should stop the monkey games of Sangh Parivar. Otherwise let them give the responsibility to public. We will show that public is capable enough to stop these kinds of monkey games of Sangh Parivar. The state government should immediately change the inefficient home minister of the state and take the rule of Dakshina Kannada from the hands of Sangh Parivar,” he said.
