Udupi: New itinerant court of civil judge, JMFC of Brahmavar to open on Aug 5

Udupi, Aug 3: “The new itinerant court of civil judge and JMFC of Brahmavar will be inaugurated on August 5. Karnataka High Court judge and district court building committee president P S Dinesh Kumar will be inaugurating it,” said Brahmavar Advocates' Association president Kadoor Pravin Shetty.

He said that high court judge and Udupi district administrative judge I M Arun will preside over the programme.

He said that ministers H K Patil, Sathish Jarakiholi and Lakshmi Hebbalkar will be the guests of honour. “The inauguration will be followed by a hall programme at Brahmavar Bantara Bhavan,” he said.

“A package of Rs 87 lacs has been approved by the government for renovating the old building of the community health centre of Brahmavar and for court furniture besides other facilities,” he said.

Udupi Advocate’s Association president B Nagaraj, vice-president of Brahmavar advocate’s association Balakrishna Shetty Karje, secretary Sripadarao, treasurer Steven Louis and joint secretary Mohammed Suhan were also present.
