PM Modi savours Udupi style lunch

Udupi, Aug 4: Udupi style food which is renowned throughout India has spread its aroma in the parliament of the country.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he had Udupi Saaru, Pathrode, Sukurunde, sweet dish of jackfruit, chutney of Timare that was served on plantain leaf along with some dishes of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu that savoured for lunch.

Budnaru Subramanya Acharya had gone to New Delhi to serve the special dishes on the lunch that was served after the meeting of NDA MPs that took place at the auditorium of Parliament. Subramanya Acharya not only cooked the food but also served the same to PM Modi.

Union ministers Prahlad Joshi, Nitin Gadkari, Shobha Karandlaje, BJP national president J P Nadda and others tasted the Udupi food. Rajshekhar assisted Subramanya in the cooking and serving.
