Mangaluru, Aug 8: Archbishop Dr Thomas D’Souza celebrated his silver jubilee of episcopal consecration on August 5 at his mother parish, St Joseph the Worker church, Neermarga.
Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, emeritus bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, vicar general, Kolkata diocese, Msgr Dominic Gomes, parish priest Fr Paul Pinto, along with other priests celebrated the thanksgiving Mass followed by a grand celebration of the occasion by the family members of the celebrant on the church ground.
On this auspicious occasion, on behalf of all the parishioners, parish priest Fr Paul Pinto, parish pastoral committee vice president Francis Gonsalves; secretary Usha Fernandes, all commissions coordinator Maurice Renjal felicitated the silver jubilee celebrant Archbishop Thomas D’Souza during the high Mass on August 6.
