Udupi: Canara Bank Circle office Manipal to host second Marathon Freedom Run 2023

Udupi. Aug 10: In commemoration of Independence Day, the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal, along with the Treasury/GTPS Manipal wing, is set to organize the second edition of the "Canara Marathon Freedom Run 2023" on August 15, 2023.

The event will feature three categories: a 10k run, a 5k run, and a 3k run. All races will commence from the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal. The 10k run is scheduled to start at 6 am, followed by the 5k run at 6:30 am, and the 3k run at 7 am. Members of the public are invited to register and participate in this marathon," stated Sachin Shetty, Senior Manager of GTPC Manipal.

The 3k run will commence from the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal and proceed through Syndicate Circle, Coin Age Circle, V S Acharya statue, Syndicate Circle, concluding once again at the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal.

Similarly, the 5k run will also originate from the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal, encompassing Syndicate Circle, Coin Age Circle, Sai Radha Valley, Country Inn Hotel, before culminating at Syndicate Circle and then returning to the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal.

The 10k marathon, the longest route, will kick off at 6 am from the Canara Bank Circle Office Manipal. It will navigate through Syndicate Circle, Coin Age Circle, Church Railway Bridge, Sai Radha Valley, Country Inn Hotel, before reaching its conclusion at Syndicate Circle and returning to the Canara Bank Circle Office, Manipal.

Present during the press meet were Sooraj, senior manager, RAH, Udupi; Vishal Singh, manager, GTPS, Manipal; Appu Nayak, senior manager; Durgaprasad, manager and Anand, officer, GTPC Manipal.
