Kundapura, Aug 10: MLA Gururaj Gantihole visited the primary health centre at Kandloor and inspected the deficiencies on Sunday, August 10.
Speaking to news reporters later he said that excellent doctors work in some village hospitals though some doctors hesitate to work in them. He asked if patients visiting from Kandloor and other close by villages were getting good treatment at Kandloor health centre. He discussed with the health centre staff regarding the condition, scarcity of staff, furniture and other facilities at the centre.
He later paid his first visit to Kavradi grama panchayat and held discussions about the grama panchayat building with panchayat members.
Samrat Shetty, Dinesh Acharya, Vijaya Putran, Premananda Shetty, party leaders, grama panchayat members, hospital staff and others were present.
