Mangaluru, Aug 14: The banner that was put supporting justice for Soujanya, attracted the attention of public in the Akhanda Bharat Sankalp Day that was held at Kumpala grounds on Sunday by Hindu Jagarana Vedike.

Kumpal Om Shakti unit of HJV put up the banner which said, “Soujanya is not a girl or what? Justice for Kumari Soujanya. Though it is 11 years why those who committed rape of poor girl are not traced? When they will be hanged? Is the justice different for villages and Delhi?

“Who is responsible for the 11 years of imprisonment of innocent Santhosh Rao and the insult of his family? Intelligent citizens, wake up now. Let our fight continue till the rapists of Soujanya are hanged to death,” stated the banner.

    Soujanya is not one case. Daily a number of similar cases take place in India. Sad thing is that some cases are done delibaratelly like the one's in Manipur and those who suppose to give protection are not taking any action. This is the tragedy in India. Each Indian must examine oneself where one stands. Thank you and God bless each and every one of us.
