Mangaluru: Dharma Jyothi Social Centre celebrates Girl Child Day

Mangaluru, Sep 22: Dharma Jyothi Social Centre, Vamanjoor celebrated Girl Child Day at Ajji Mane Anganawady, Edurupadav on September 21.

Sr Joel Lasrado was the resource person for the programme. She gave awareness on women and girl child trafficking. Malathi, the supervisor of women and child department spoke on female infanticide.

 

Rathi Shetty and Sarasvathi were present.  As many as 42 parents and children participated in the programme. Prerana welcomed the gathering and Renita thanked and compered the programme. As a token of the event, all received a health kit each.
