Udupi: Manipal police bust prostitution racket, arrest two, one escapes

Udupi, Oct 4: Manipal police raided an illegal prostitution den and arrested two individuals involved in flesh trade from a house in Herga.

The arrested are identified as Shivaraj (38) of Mandya and Ningappa Ambiger (29) of Bagalkot. Another accused Naveen Gowda escaped during the raid.

They were running a prostitution racket and used to bring girls to the house and were making them carry out illegal activities.

Two mobile phones, Rs 15,000 cash and other items have been confiscated from the spot.

A case in this regard has been filed in Manipal police station.
