Kundapur: Film actor Doddanna to receive best actor award

Kundapur, Oct 4: The Kannada Rajyotsava program, titled "Sadbhavana – 2023," will be organized by Panchavarna Yuvaka Mandala Kota and Panchavarna Mahila Mandala at Gandhi Maidan Kota on November 10.

As part of this annual celebration, special achievers in the national and international arenas are honored with the Panchavarna Rajyotsava awards. This year, renowned film actor Doddanna will be presented with the award in the presence of dignitaries, along with a silver memento worth Rs 15,000.

The event will also include a special congratulation for Dr Radhakrishna Urala, an actor from the film "Ammachi." Additionally, a special award will be presented to the environmentally friendly organization Clean Trasi team. The occasion will feature scholarships for underprivileged and ill students, the distribution of uniforms to local Anganwadi students, funding for Kannada medium schools, and other socially beneficial programs.

The event will be enriched by performances from local Anganwadi students, as well as a comedy drama directed by Davadas Kapikad from Mangaluru, as announced by Ajith Achar, the president of the sangha.
