Mangaluru, Oct 4: St Alphonsa Sauharda Co-operative Society in Kankanady, Mangaluru is set to be inaugurated on October 8 at 11 am in the St Alphonsa Church hall.
The event will be graced by Naveen R D Souza, corporator of Bendur Ward, who will also inaugurate the society. Fr Mani Veluthedathuparambil will bless the occasion.
The guests of honour include Bharati G Bhat, director of KSSCL Bengaluru; Guruprasad Bangera, senior officer of KSSCL Bengaluru; Vijay B S, development officer of KSSCL Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts; Ln A Suresh Rai, president of DK Zilla Okkutta Souhards Sahakari, Niyamitha, Mangaluru; and Jithin Jijo, CEO of the Institute for Study and Development of Co-operation.
After the formal inauguration FD certificates will be distributed to the beneficiaries. M V James, president of the society, will preside over the event and deliver the presidential address.
