Mangaluru, Oct 5: Bejai primary health centre Asha worker has lodged a complaint to the health officer, MLA and Urva police station against false rumours spread against her in social media.

Prabha Gayathri, the Asha worker, had allegedly visited Bejai Horizon apartment on October 3 to obtain details of children’s and pregnant women’s injections under government’s Indra Dhanush programme.

The individual who was present in the apartment has allegedly spread false rumours against the Asha worker.

Prabha Gayathri hopes that none of the Asha workers should go through such an experience and that the department will take suitable action in this regard.
