Mangaluru, Oct 6: Alice D'Souza (Sr Sadhana), under the guidance of Dr Rio D'Souza, principal of St Joseph's Engineering College, Vamanjoor, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Applied Sciences by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum.
This recognition is bestowed upon her for successfully fulfilling all the requirements for the degree, which includes the submission of her thesis titled "Contribution of Konkani Phonemes towards Expression of Emotions."
