Bantwal, Oct 7: Rs one lac kept in a two wheeler was stolen at B C Road.
In a complaint filed with city police station, Prakash Kodimajalu, resident of Narikombu informed that he had drawn Rs 1.40 lac on Friday morning from bank and had kept the same in the seat below his two wheeler that was parked in front of Mini Vidhana Soudha. He went to complete other works.
In the afternoon, when he opened the seat lock, he found only Rs 40000 and Rs one lac was missing. Bantwal city police are investigating further.
