Pandit Tharanath denies being asked to pay commission to participate in Dasara celebrations

Bengaluru, Oct 14: Noted musician Pandit Rajiv Tharanath has denied media reports alleging that the government officials had met him and demanded commission for participating in the Dasara celebrations.

"Nobody has met him nor demanded any commission from me,’’ he said and
stoutly denied the media reports regarding the demand for payment of commission.

State Contractors Association called on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and held
discussions on various issues.

Chief Minister’s additional chief secretary Dr Rajneesh Goel, Urban Development additional chief secretary Rakesh Singh, Rural Development additional chief secretary Anjum Parvez and other senior officials were present.
