Udupi, Oct 15: The magnificent lighting display for Uchilla Dasara 2023 was officially inaugurated by Banjara Prakash Shetty, president of MRG Group, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the temple premises.

Uchilla Dasara is being celebrated in grand fashion from October 15 to 24, with the temple's Dasara festivities set to commence on October 15.

As part of the event, a spectacular lighting decoration has been arranged at the temple and along the national highway, sponsored by Banjara Prakash Shetty of MRG Group.

The event was graced by the presence of Nadoja Dr G Shanker, honorary advisor; Gurme Suresh Shetty, Kaup MLA; Yashpal Suvarna, Udupi MLA; Jaya C Kotian, president of Mogaveer Mahajan Sangha; Vedamurthy Raghavendra Upadhyaya, temple priest; Gundu B Amin, president of the Renovation Committee; Vasudeva Salian, president; Usharani, president of the Women's Unit; Suguna Karkera, president of Kaup Nakupatna Mogaveera Mahasabha; Subhaschandra Mendon, vice president; Sudhaker Kunder, secretary and Sathish Amin Padukere, temple manager.
