Young Indians Mangaluru holds Ride for Entrepreneurship cycle rally in City

Mangaluru, Oct 15: Young Indians Mangaluru held a Ride for Entrepreneurship cycle rally in the city at Mangala Stadium on October 15 at 5:30 am where about 217 participants gathered together to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.

The flagging off ceremony commenced with Yi Mangaluru Chair's Sameeksha Shetty briefing the crowd about Young Indians Mangaluru. Yi Mangaluru Co-chair M Athmika Amin welcomed the guests Anantesh V Prabhu, the convenor - Agri & Food Processing panel CII Mangaluru and Ajith Kamath, co-chair of CII, Mangaluru Chapter. She also spoke about the importance of Entrepreneurship and how to create awareness and encourage the young and budding entrepreneurs of Mangaluru. Road Safety Chair of Young Indians Mangaluru Sharan Shetty gave instructions to the participants about the rally which was on a 12 km route from Mangala Stadium – Urwa Store – Bejai Kapikad Road – Bharath Mall – M G Road – City Point – Mahamaya Temple Road – Car street – Kudroli – Mannagudda – Urwa Market – Ladyhill – Mangala Stadium. Mangalore Cycle Company volunteers spoke about the do’s and don’ts during the cycle rally.

All participants were asked to bring their own bikes and bottles. The closing ceremony took place at the same venue at 7:30 am, with a Zumba session for the participants to cool down after the rally. Renowned Fitness Instructor Kaushik Boloor, who is also trained in MMA and Muay Thai internationally, was invited as a guest for the valedictory and spoke to the riders on the importance of fitness & physical activity for entrepreneurs. Refreshments and juice were provided to the participants and volunteers. The contributors of today’s event included Aruna Industries, Novigo Solutions, Arkieva, M.S Pai, Cargo Links, M Recycling, Ajith Enterprises, Just Juice, Pai Sales, PB Spices, Bharath Mall, Punjabi Dhaba, and Manjunath Bisleri. The media who covered the cycle rally was appreciated for their support. Mangalore Cycle Company played a crucial role in supporting the organization of this cycle rally from the very conception of the idea. Young Indians Mangaluru thanked and congratulated all the participants of the cycle rally for their wholehearted participation.

Young Indians Mangaluru Chapter mentor Dikshith Rai, immediate past chair Ashith B Hegde, and Gaurav Hegde, immediate past chairperson of CII, Mangaluru Chapter, supported the cause greatly. Young Indians Mangaluru Yuva Chair Shohan Shetty, Masoom Chair Salome Lobo Pereira, Rural Safety Chair Eshwar Shetty, Climate Change Chair Aajeeth Kumar, and members Abhinav Bansal, Aditi Bansal, Aditya Pai, and Rakshith Suriya worked together as a team towards this cause.
