Udupi: Puthige Paryaya welcome committee releases letter requesting for Horekanike

Udupi, Oct 18: The special meeting of the Puthige Paryayotsava welcome committee was chaired by president Raghupathi Bhat. Discussions about the functioning of the committees of finance, horekanike and culture were held during the meeting. Chief sponsor of the committee, Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna hoped that huge cash and pulses may be received as donation for Puthige Paryaya on the occasion of Navratri. He called on everybody to conduct Krishna Mukhyaprana Seve together and released the request for Horekanike.

Kaup MLA Suresh Shetty Gurme, chief secretary Belapu Deviprasad Shetty, treasurer Ranjan Kalkura, convener Prasad Raj Kanchan, Bykadi Suprasad Shetty, Jayakar Shetty Indrali, Kappettu Pravin Shetty, Dinesh Putran, M L Samaga, Sripathi Bhat, Hejmady Dayanand Bangera, Ganesh Rao, Santhosh Shetty Thenkaraguthu, Mattar Ratnaker Hegde, Balaji Yogish Shetty, M S Vishnu, members Dr Sudarshan, Srinivas U K, Gururaj Acharya, Vishnumoorthi Upadyaya and Ravindra Acharya were present.

Nagaraja Acharya, the Diwan of the Math welcomed. Ramesh K Bhat compered the programme and proposed a vote of thanks.
