Ace Assamese musician Zubeen Garg recovering well after sudden illness


Guwahati, Nov 9 (IANS): Ace singer and music composer from Assam, Zubeen Garg has been recovering well after he was hospitalised due to sudden illness, sources said, adding that he will be discharged soon.

A senior doctor of the hospital said on Thursday that Garg has been undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), but his vital health parameters are fine and is doing well.

“We have kept Zubeen under medical observation. There is no need to worry,” the doctor said, adding that the singer may be discharged within a day or two.

In July last year, the musician was hospitalised in Dibrugarh for a head injury sustained due to falling in the bathroom.

He received stitches on his head and recovered after a few days.
