Mayawati Hits out at BJP after Wikileaks Expose

Lucknow, Sep 5: Relying that 'attack is the best defence', the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) lashed out at Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) after the latter attacked BSP Supremo and Chief Minister Mayawati as corrupt after WikiLeaks expose.

He said that even everyone has seen how BJP's national president Bangaru Luxman had accepted currency notes on TV camera. "And when leaders of this party talks about corruption it appears ridiculous," he said.

"It reflects the anti dalit mentality of the BJP's national leader Mukhtar Abaas Naqvi and they are finding it diffcult that a dalit lady has reached to the post of Chief Minister in this crucial state of Uttar Pradesh," BSP spokesman said in a statement issued at Lucknow on Monday.

He however claimed that BSP will observe restrain as it is a responsible national party and will not join the allegations propoganda on the basis  of baseless revealations by Wikileaks.

Lashing out at the BJP, the spokesperson stated that BJP was neck deep in corruption with one CM in Karnataka resigning due to corrupt practices while others as Uttarakhand Government is facing serious corruption charges for embezzlement of money in Kumbh mela, Madhya Pradesh government was found guilty by Supreme Court in illegally allotting land for Kushabhau Thakre Trust.
