Bantwal, June 30: L N Kudooru, former president of Campco and a resident of Kudooru in Vitlakasaba village, passed away on June 30 due to illness at a private hospital in Mangaluru. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Lakshminarayan Kudooru, known as L N Kudooru, was the son of senior social and religious leader Kudooru Krishna Bhat and Kamalamma. He made significant contributions in social, religious, educational, and cooperative fields.
L N Kudooru was esteemed for his leadership in the Sri Panchalingeshwara Temple renovation committee and his pivotal role in organising the temple's Brahmakalash celebrations. He also served as chairman of Campco, a prominent cooperative entity, and held the chairmanship at the Rural Cooperative Bank.
L N Kudooru was nationally recognised as the vice-president of the Jaycees Club and currently served as president of Vithal Basavanagudi Jaycees Education Society, along with being the convener of Vittal Vidya Sangha.
The demise of LN Kudooru has been deeply mourned by dignitaries and the community alike.
