Mangalore: Musical Night to Raise Funds for ‘Ashraya Dhama’ on Dec 5

Mangalore, Dec 4: Bangalore-based Kumbalgodu’s Kalavidara Ashrayada Vishwa Kaladhama (R) will conduct a musical night at the Town Hall on Monday December 5.

“On the occasion, local artists like Bhoja Suvarna, Babanna (AB Vithal), Tonse P Kumar, Vasanth Kundar, Vinny Fernandes, and Shrinivas Bhagawat will be felicitated,” said Ashraya Dhama secretary B Munikumar.

“The event is being conducted to help raise funds to build ‘Ashraya Dhama’ to provide shelter for the handicapped, children, and elderly artists,” he added.

Addressing the press conference on Saturday, Munikumar informed that the event will be inaugurated by  B Nagraj Shetty, former minister and Coastal  Development Authority chairman,  and Ganesh Rao, chief, Institution of Karavali Communications.

City Mayor Praveen, K T Seilaja, chief, ZP, Mangalore, delegates S Pradeep Kumar Kalkur, Harkrishna Punaroor, Ramanath Hegde, Devdas Putran, Diwakar Pandeshwar, Ranganath Kini, T K Rajan, Manoj Kumar Shetty, Yogish Shetty Jeppu, Haji B Sheik Jokatte, Ashok Shet, S S Rao, and Lateef will participate as chief guests.
