Los Angeles, Jan 7: Hollywood stars Zendaya and Tom Holland have taken their relationship to the next level, confirming their engagement during the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards held on January 5.

The 28-year-old actress, renowned for her role in ‘Euphoria,’ sparked engagement rumours as she graced the red carpet wearing a stunning diamond ring on her left hand. When inquired about the ring, Zendaya offered a playful response, neither confirming nor denying the engagement.

According to sources, Tom Holland, also 28, proposed to Zendaya during the holiday season at one of her family homes. An insider revealed, "Everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening."

The couple, who first met on the set of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2016, have been romantically linked since 2021. They have maintained a relatively private relationship, making occasional public appearances together. Notably, Tom was absent from the Golden Globes red carpet, allowing Zendaya to shine solo.

At the golden globes, Zendaya's engagement ring drew significant attention. The exquisite piece is believed to be a 5.02-carat east-west cushion-cut diamond set in an 18k white and yellow gold Georgian-style setting, designed by London jeweller Jessica McCormack.
