Korea, Jan 10: Cha Eun Woo’s (of ASTRO) busy schedule could see even more exciting developments as the True Beauty star is in discussions to take on the male lead role in a new drama by the renowned Hong Sisters. Currently immersed in filming his upcoming drama, The WONDERfools, alongside Park Eun Bin, the sought-after performer may soon join Sweet Home actress Go Min Si, according to South Korean media reports from January 9.

His agency, Fantagio, has since addressed the claims, stating, “Cha Eun Woo recently received a casting offer for the Hong Sisters’ new project and is positively reviewing [the offer].”

Prior to the report of Cha Eun Woo potentially joining the new K-drama project, Go Min Si’s agency, Mystic Story, confirmed her participation. Officials shared the statement: “Go Min Si will appear in the Hong Sisters’ new project. She is currently preparing for filming.”

While major details about the show remain under wraps, speculations have emerged suggesting that the upcoming title could be a sequel to the hit series Hotel Del Luna, starring IU. However, Go Min Si’s agency has dismissed these rumors, clarifying, “It is not Hotel Del Luna 2.”

K-drama enthusiasts are already excited about the unexpected pairing of Cha Eun Woo and Go Min Si, with many anticipating their on-screen chemistry. However, some fans are expressing concerns regarding the casting due to the Hong Sisters’ previous controversies, particularly around allegations of plagiarism.
