Mangalore: Fourth Lancy Nite at St Antony Ashram, Jeppu Mesmerizes Inmates

Mangalore, Jan 1: Lancy Noronha and his wife Shyna presented the fourth Lancy Nite at the St Antony Ashram, Jeppu on Saturday December 31 as a thanksgiving for the favours received.

There was adoration and the evening prayer at the Ashram chapel along with the inmates. The holy hour was conducted by Fr Francis D’Souza, administrator, St Antony Ashram. During the adoration he prayed for the different desires of the inmates and benefactors.


Fr Dennis Moras, Vicar general as well as the director of Ashram welcomed the gathering. The programme was enhanced by the gracious dance by the Magic Floor dancers. The programme was presided by Luck Goveas. Father of Lancy Noronha Everest Noronha and mother of Shyna Noronha Genevieve Walter were present on the dais.

Welcome dance was performed for the song sung by Lancy. It was followed by series of wonderful songs. The singers were Lancy, Shyna, Lenita, Joseph Mathias and Wilma Pereira. The inmates also put forth their talents in the form of dance, skits and jokes.

The instruments were played by Patrick Pereira and Vijay Noronha. Shyna Noronha proposed the vote of thanks. The master of ceremony was conducted by Lenita Noronha and Fr George Crasta, district director of Ashram.
