Udupi: Seventh year 'Nirantar Natakotsav' from Feb 20-23

Udupi, Feb 19: The seventh year of "Nirantar Natakotsav 2025" will begin from February 20. The four days drama festival organized by Nirantar Udyavar from the past seven years has been tremendously succefful year on year.

The drama festival will be held in Government pre University college grounds, Bolargudde, Udyavar. Kannada, Tulu and Konkani plays will be staged on these four days.

On the first day Feb 20, "Bettalata" by Mandara cultural service organization, translated by Prakash Garuda will be staged. The play is directed by Rohit S Baikady.

On Feb 21, Tulu play "Eedi" by Sumanasa Kodavoor, directed by Viddu Ucchil. Written in Tulu by Latesh Poojary Mumbai, designed by H K Dwaraknath. The play is created by Sameer Penkar.

On Feb 22, The theatre studies centre of St Aloysius deemed to be University, Mangaluru will stage "Hang On" in Kannada language. The play is designed and directed by Clanwin Fernandes.

On the last day of the drama festival on Feb 23, The theatre studies centre of St Aloysius deemed to be University, Mangaluru will stage Konkani play "Payn". The play is adapted from Dr Alwyn Serrao's book and is directed by Sweedal Dsouza. The show is presented in association with Astitva, Mangaluru.

The public have free entry for all the four days.
