Mumbai police strengthen vigil ahead of Eid, Gudi Padwa

Mumbai, Mar 31: In anticipation of Eid-ul-Fitr and Gudi Padwa, Mumbai Police have ramped up security measures across the city, deploying 14,000 personnel to maintain law and order.

Officials stated that the deployment includes seven additional commissioners, 17 Deputy Commissioners, 50 Assistant Commissioners, 1,982 police officials, and 11,820 constables.

The police have urged citizens to celebrate responsibly, avoid touching suspicious items in crowded areas, and promptly report any unusual activities to emergency numbers 100 or 112.

Security forces remain on high alert to ensure peaceful festivities.
