Mumbai, Apr 25: Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, currently airing on Zee TV, has captivated audiences with its intense storyline. However, behind the scenes, the mood is far from serious—especially when actors Aarya Babbar and Sagar Parekh are on set together.

In a candid interaction, Sagar Parekh, who plays Akash, shared insights into his delightful off-screen bond with co-star Aarya Babbar, who essays the role of the cunning and ambitious Kalikant. While their on-screen father-son dynamic is laced with tension, the real-life camaraderie between the two actors is built on laughter and light-heartedness.

“Working with Aarya Sir is always a fun experience. His energy is infectious—there’s always a joke, a dance move, or some unexpected moment that lightens up even the most intense scenes,” said Sagar, speaking with a smile.

“He has this amazing ability to switch from serious drama to playful banter in a heartbeat. We’re constantly pulling each other’s legs and sharing laughs. It honestly doesn’t feel like work when you have such a co-star around,” he added.

Aarya Babbar, meanwhile, continues to win praise for his evolving portrayal of Kalikant, a character marked by political ambition and a thirst for power. His recent transformation, complete with a sharp Jodhpuri suit and a refined salt-and-pepper look, reflects a new phase in Kalikant’s journey.

“I’m thrilled with the evolution of Kalikant. Though he may look more polished now, his drive and dangerous streak remain untouched. It’s exciting to explore these layers as the story progresses,” shared the Ab Ke Baras actor.

Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah, which premiered on January 28, continues to air daily on Zee TV, drawing viewers into its complex world of ambition, family drama, and emotional upheavals.
